Lyda Pola is longtime artist who lives in southern Maine. Her creative journey started in NYC with medical illustration and figurative drawing to a current engagement with animals and nature where her personal style often is based on orthogonal design. Her central motif is order arising from chaos.  Her materials are all natural pigments made by hand in a collage and mounted on cardboard or wood.
